Imagine this: You have parents attending prayer meetings 3x a week, they read the Bible every waking hours and they're always present during Sundays. Oops, I almost forgot, they are also members of their company's religious organization.
The question is, would you act like a goody two-shoes and live by what they preach? Or would you do things your way?
You see, my parents are real fanatics. I know it's a good thing and that we should follow that example as their children. But you see, I am not that kind of person. Okay, honestly there's a point in my life where I wanted to be a nun just because my faith and my relationship with God is really good, compared to kids my age. Don't get me wrong, I'm still faithful as ever, but there are things that happened in the past few years that made me realize that faith isn't everything.
Okay, I am totally rambling here. My point is, it's so hard to live by your parents' expectations. The end.
( Anyway, I wouldn't end my rant without my fan girl entry. )
